There are different types of powers of attorney, but common onces are enduring powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney and enduring (medical) powers of attorney. Each has a different purpose so we will work with you to determine what’s best for your circumstances.

If you’ve previously arranged for a power of attorney consider whether your circumstances have changed since then, and particularly whether those you have nominated are still appropriate given your current circumstances. Have your attorneys moved away? Do you still feel your appointed attorneys are the best people to handle your affairs if you’re unable to? Are there other more appropriate attorneys available to you? If you had young children when you prepared your power of attorney documents, are they now old enough to step into that role?
